Congrats to those who lost last week!! Way to go!! To all of those with the diet blues, hang in there, you can do it!! Well it was a much better week for me this week. I tracked my points and really watched what I ate and lost 4.6 lbs which puts me at a 32 lb loss and now .6 lbs down from my pre-surgery weight!! I have also changed my mindset that this is not a diet but a lifestyle change. So hoping to keep up the momentum again this week. Can't wait to see how y'all do this week!! Good luck ladies!!

That's awesome, Mel! So so so proud of you!

I truly believe that with this kind of thing, attitude is everything. And you're so right about it being a lifestyle change. I know that realistically, I'm not going to go the rest of my life without enjoying the things that I love. So, the key is learning moderation and not "splurging" every day.

I posted this on fb, but I thought I'd share with you guys, too. Our favorite pizza right now is the Papa Murphy's Gourmet Vegetarian Delite. OMG you guys. If you have a Papa Murphy's close by, you neeeed to get this pizza. It's our absolute favorite. And it's low enough in calories (not sure about the ww point value) that I can have 3 pieces for dinner. Yum yum yum!

Melissa - I'm so excited for you! I have to say that I'm having mindset issues right now. I feel really grumpy about not being able to just eat what I want, where I want because I don't have enough points or won't be leaving myself enough points for the next meal. I had a whole negative day like that yesterday and then a craving for birthday cake (????). So...I take that as a sign of needing to just suck it up and get back on the healthy foods and really focus the fact that eatting healthier and within my points make me feel better. I just need to give it a little time. Plus it feels good to step on the scale and see a loss.

So, last week I tried to follow points half-heartedly and I did lose .5 lbs. So I'm down 21 pounds from where I started. I hoping after a few weeks off of not being serious that by working the program this week I'll see a bigger jump and that will incentivize me to keep it going.

I'm down 32 lbs since January..although right now I'm just losing b/c I can't eat much with my gallstones. I have surgery scheduled for Aug. 24 and then once I'm all better I have a feeling I may gain a few back b/c I am STARVING. All I can really eat right now is mashed potatoes and rice cakes. So ready to get this gb out!

I flat-lined again this week. A big fat zero. But, at least it wasn't a gain. And, considering that last week was my Anniversary and my baby's birthday, I didn't even track for two or three of the days and just kind of ate what I wanted. Today, I'm back to tracking good and I stocked my fridge with better and more convenient choices.

I need to get back to walking. I did go twice last week, but I need to do better.

Good job on your loss this week, Mel! Hopefully everyone else will have a good week too. I need the motivation from all of you ladies. :)

Oh Nikki, why are they making you wait so long for surgery? That has got to be torture. I hope it goes smoothly for ya. Lydia and flat line is good too, it's not a gain so that rocks!!!

Well it's not an emergency..like it hasn't ruptured or isn't infected..it's just full of stones..so I just have to go on the schedule and wait. My surgeon only does non emergency gall bladders on Fridays and that was the first opening. 10 more days today.

Great job, ladies! I am trying not to weigh myself more than twice a month right now (I actually had dh hide the scale) because I get so frustrated sometimes by what I perceive as a lack of progress when I don't see big losses on the scale. I am sticking to my food plan and exercising consistently though, so I know that good things are happening. My clothes are definitely fitting better, and my endurance is improving. Very excited to be working with my trainer tomorrow for the first time in a couple of months. Can't wait! :)

Good luck with your GB, Nikki... that is no fun. I had mine out between my 1st and 2nd kids. At least it should be a pretty quick recovery.

Ah Nikki that makes sense, I guess. Mine was not an emergency removal but from the day I met with him to surgery was 1 week total. I just feel so bad for you having to wait that long. :(

Well I lost 0.8 again. Down total of 36.6. I'm a little disheartened at my attitude lately about food. It's like that "I'm starting to wear smaller sizes and people are noticing so I can slack off" attitude and I don't want to be like that. This week...I try harder. I'll never make my Christmas goal of 65 total if I don't buck up and do it.

Also dealing with a bum knee this week so hopefully icing it down will help this weekend and I can enjoy a nice long run when my boy starts school next week. :)

Awww I'm sorry, Tracy. I know it gets hard after a while. You are doing SO great though! I can't to say that I've lost as much as you have!

Like Tracy, I'm down 0.8 again, too. I'm a little bummed by that because I've been so good... made healthy choices, didn't go over my calories, drank lots of water (usually between 80-100 oz per day, BUT (and this is the biggie) I'm not exercising. So, I need to focus on MOVING. It doesn't have to be a ton. I just want to DO something. Whether I go to the gym and walk on the treadmill or walk around the neighborhood or even just do an xbox kinnect work-out, I need to do SOMETHING.

So thankful to have you guys for support. I'm down 6.4lbs so far, and it seems like SUCH a long way to the finish line. Don't think I could do it without ya!

Looks like the bad attitude is going around right now. Bleh. That's why it's good that we have each other though. Keep going everyone!

So weird that we all seem to have that attitude. I am totally there as well. I am happy with where I am at weight wise. I am okay now if I don't lose anymore but, I think that is making me say "I can take a day off or I can eat this". I know I can't keep doing that because that attitude is what got me where I was. Once in awhile is okay but not everyday with this attitude. I have had to FORCE myself to work out the last two weeks. I have no mental drive to do it. Thankfully I have still been able to make myself do it but, it is so hard.

Libby - I know that it seems so far away right now but you will get there and you can do this. Before you know it you will be on the downhill slide and thinking "WOW....I can't believe I have come so far!" All of those little ounces and pounds add up to a big pay off.

And congrats to everyone on your losses and for making it through another week. You are all so inspirational.

You are the inspiration Neenee! I wanna buy some size 6 shorts too. I just don't have the drive to workout like you do, but I'm trying to keep up with you on the running :)

Well after more than 2 months off the bandwagon I am slowly getting back on....life is going back to normal summer is over and the kids are back to school. I have been so busy I hardly ate anything at all! Which is not good but at least I am not gaining! Sigh Next week is a brand new and fantastic week I will work hard and stay on track and go back to the gym! Oh and I lost another 2 pounds since I started and I am now at 16.2 LBS lost!!! So happy about that number but so not feeling it in my clothes...I am so bloated!

So guys lets just hang in there and be proud of the achievemnets we have reached and just celebrate and go on from there...we all feel blah but it will get better! Maybe we should all promise to to an extra set of excercise or a walk etc. and see if that does not boost our mood? And honestly you guys are so inspiring going on and through the rough patches just sticking to the plan!

I am so happy I read through each and every post here, because you all have lifted my spirits. I have lost my momentum in a big way and am struggling to get back on track so it is nice to know I am not alone. Congratulations on your losses and your great attitudes.

I did manage to loss one pound this week so I am going to take it and run and not even think about all the popcorn I had last night watching the hunger games. I was so not hungry by the end. ;)

Is it time for a new weekly thread?

I just started trying to lose weight last Sunday and have lost 2.2lbs so far. I am just using the My Fitness Pal app to track what I eat and that's it. I haven't started exercising yet, but I will! We moved our treadmill into the family room instead of in my husband's bedroom so hopefully that'll get me going on it since I'll see it all the time. I told myself I will start when the girls go back to school, but I might just start earlier than that! I'm glad to see there are others doing the weight loss thing too and I know you'll help keep me going!

Ladies, you are so inspiring and I am so glad we all have each other to lean on. :) Congrats to everyone on their losses!!! It's been another awesome week!!
