Hey ladies, it's a new week and time for a new thread!! I am so thrilled with how everyone did last week!!! Y'all are amazing and so inspiring!! I weighed in Sunday and I am up .2 lbs from before the surgery and since I have not been following my WW or exercising I figure that is not to shabby. Hopefully I can lose some this week even though we are out camping. LOL! Can't wait to see your numbers this week and please feel free to join us if you are doing any other kind of program or just working on weight loss. :)

That is fabulous Melissa!!!

I'll just go ahead and say this week was a bust. I don't weigh until Friday, but I doubt I can make up for it in the next two days. I really just went away for the weekend with the girls and ate like I didn't care. Now I'm regretting it, but it was nice to have a cheat weekend.

Also I bought another bikini...that's 3 now...this is what happens when I lose weight, I become a shopaholic.

Well I worked my butt off this week trying to make up for the weekend where I came back and was in the negative on points. After lots of activity points Mon-Thurs, I lost 0.2 lbs. I am ECSTATIC! I was worried all week that I gained a lot.

Anyway...I am now down 35.0 lbs. which was my goal before my 37th birthday (my birthday is this Tuesday 8/7 so I'm right on track).

Tracy, that's FABULOUS news!!! Both that you had a loss after a big cheat weekend and that you reached your goal on schedule! Congrats! And hahahaha on the shop-a-holic thing... I can see me being the same way. I neeeeeeeed new clothes, but I don't want to buy fat clothes. So, once I start losing, I know I'll be thrilled to get to pick up some cute new things in smaller sizes after months of living in t-shirts and yoga pants. LOL

Mel, that's awesome that you had such a small gain after surgery. For me, when I'm sick or recovering or whatever, I often use that as an excuse to make poor food choices. Sounds like you've been doing great!

I had my 2nd weigh-in this morning. Down 2.2lbs for a total of 4.8. SO close to that 5lb mark. I still have so far to go, but I do love seeing that progress!

Congrats girls! You are all doing so awesome! And, this week, I need the motivation badly.

I weighed in back on Monday, and I had lost 1.4 lbs. I'm down 35.6 total now. Of course, that is completely awesome! BUT, this week has been hard. I lost another point for eating, and I'm starting to feel like I just eat the same thing every day. And, the fact that everything takes prep work - chopping veggies, etc. - well, I'm just getting a little tired of it. I think I'm gonna go buy some of the Weight Watchers frozen meals to use on those days when I just don't want to spend the time on the other stuff . . . when I need something quick that won't kill my points for the day.

We have a family party tomorrow, so we'll see how it goes. I'm not expecting a big loss this coming week (or any loss at all). I've had a bad attitude about it this week, and since I've been a bit sick, I haven't gone walking for TWO weeks! That pint of Ben & Jerry's that my friend brought me earlier in the week doesn't help either. Yes - I ate it - but not in one sitting. :)

On Monday, I'm back to walking for sure, and hopefully, my attitude will improve as well.

Awww I understand that lack of motivation, Lyd. When I did WW years ago, I went through phases like that. Dieting IS a lot of work, and I think you have to cut yourself some slack now and then.

Congrats on hitting the 35lb mark! That's quite an accomplishment!

Wow y'all, those numbers are amazing!!! I am NOT looking forward to my weigh in on sunday as I have not been following at all this week. I need to get my hind end in gear and back on track.

Looks like there's a lot of great stuff going on in here! I have spent the week pretty much avoiding the scale. I had a lousy day on Thursday and have been trying to recover from the bloat I got as a result of that. Weighing in tomorrow for a challenge I'm part of at another site.... hoping to hit the 5 pound mark for the first month. Actually, I was hoping for a lot more than 5, but clearly that's not going to happen! :)

I totally get where you're coming from Lydia, with regard to being bored with foods, etc. I'm really trying to incorporate some new and different healthy foods into my menus so that I don't get bored, since that is a typical thing that happens to me. I'm very much an all or nothing person when it comes to diet and exercise..... either I'm doing GREAT or I'm doing TERRIBLY. There isn't a lot of gray area for me. Right now I'm in a very good place, but there is always room for improvement!

So I totally fell off the wagon this week. I didn't even weigh in. After seven solid months, I just got fed up with dieting and took a week off. I didn't go overboard, I just didn't watch what I ate. Now I am afraid to get back on the scale. Maybe tomorrow I will work up the nerve to assess the damage.

Congrats to the rest of you! You guys are doing such great work! :)

Lorie, that has been me for the last 3 weeks. Finally figured out I have been emotional eating too cause of the surgery and my issues with that.
