Weekend Plans?

ColleenSwerb

Brodo gettin her Swerb on
I'm UBER bored, but Jordan has to stay at work so I'm stuck here til 430.

So what are your plans for this weekend?!

Dinner with my family tonight for Jay's birthday (which is actually tomorrow)
Saturday morning family pics with my family
Then we leave for the hunting camp in Georgia
Sunday after the morning hunt we head to Alabama for family pics with Jay's family and then a week of "fun" with his side LOL

Does it sound as stressful as I'm making it out to be? :)

I'm letting Andrew and the boys clean while I sleep off this nastiness that's invaded my body. Then I'm meditating until I'm feeling Zen enough to deal with my mother all of next week.

Oh, we might take the boys to see Bolt if I'm feeling up to it.

Well, I am packing now & we're hitting the road at about 5. We are going to my parents for about 8 days! We're excited to have a nice long break!!! I will have internet access, so I'll be checking in some, just no scrapping!

Then we leave for the hunting camp in Georgia
Where in GA?

Nothing going on here.

I had planned to go to a friend's & hang out with her and her kids for the weekend, but she had to cancel, so I'm not sure what will be happening the next couple days!

Jeff was sorry I was bummed, but also glad b/c he would have 'missed [me] kind of a lot.' Mmmhmm. He said tomorrow night could be 'LeeAndra's pick,' but I have no idea what we could do for cheap that Tyler would like, too. There is an International festival going on at the fairgrounds that I know Jeff would love (free food samples!!), but I know T. wouldn't be into it and would likely complain + whine while we walked around.

I know for sure we'll be going to Tyler's YMCA bball game (and picture day) Saturday afternoon. Hoh boy.

I think you should prolly fly out here to hang out, Col. :p

Fun Deb! I so need a vacation. We'll be spending next weekend driving from here to kingdom come.
Tracy, you can do it! Lol! Family can be trying, but you'll miss them when they are gone (ok probably not, but it's what I'm trying to convince myself.)

This weekend we are doing big fat nothing. Friends wanted to get together and I told them no way jose. I don't plan on the leaving house all weekend. Unless I skip Joann's tonight and go tomorrow. I have to go buy fabric to sew a duvet cover, which is the craziest and biggest project I've ever tried to tackle.
I also need to get going on my December Daily Album, and I want to work on an album for the 3Day.
And I MUST work on the blankets I need to knit for Christmas presents.

ETA:I totally should LA! Lol! Except for that whole "I'm not leaving the house unless it's on fire" thing.

No particular plans this weekend. The digital photo frame I got to give to my folks from Christmas arrived, so I'll probably be picking out & photos to load on it.

And I am going to make short rib ragu and polenta for dinner Sunday, which is all day affair.

P.S. When I talked to Jeff at lunch, he said he'd just NOW started calling around to board his dog while we went up to my parents for Thanksgiving. Of course (duh!), he hasn't found an opening yet except for one place where it would be $63 and he 'would never pay that much.'

I was so flabbergasted that I sounded rather noncommital on the phone, but I've been stewing all afternoon. Taking the dog to my parents' is not an option as my parents do not 'do' animals in their house (and it is a 5 hour round trip), and Jeff's parents will be out of state over the weekend.

I will be SO UBER HORKED if he ends up having to stay home to take care of the dog b/c he was stupid and did not call kennels ahead of time to get everything sorted out when we have been planning on seeing my parents for Thanksgiving for more than a month. Of course, I will be going to my parents' house either way b/c I'm certainly not going to be 'punished' for his behavior, and he & Tyler will have to fend for themselves. His parents will be in FL and his brother in WI, so I suppose they could drive 30 minutes to his grandmother's house to spend the afternoon with her, but otherwise... big fat SOL for them. I'll be sure to stay longer at my parents', too, if that happens.

Let's pray it doesn't. :cursing:

maddie is supposed to have a sleepover tonight, so gotta take her there.

i may be seeing bryn (voodoo) this weekend. she is in colo springs w/ dh's fam for thanksgiving. that would be fun.
i have a hair appt tomorrow at noon so i may need to cancel that if i see brynnie. :)

supposed to do something with jenny cause i miss her.

gonna try to at some point do those tree craft things, maybe with jenny.

church on sunday.

really that's all, folks.

nothing. My husbands boss screwed up his check once again so we had more money go out this week in gas/tolls/lunches then he brought home so we will be home all weekend long doing nothing. Im so fricking ticked at his boss right now.

doing a surprise get together for a friend's 50th b0day tomorrow {her actual b-day is not until the 30th}

I will be getting packed for my upcoming deployment in 9 short days:blink:

and geting myself together some packages for DH or friends to send to me while I am there {extra clothes, scrappin' supplies:p, etc...}

Ugh, that totally sucks LA! Men can be so lazy sometimes.

We don't have any major plans this weekend. We promised the boys we'd take them swimming at the rec center so we'll probably do that on Saturday (*maybe tonight*). I have some MAJOR laundry catch-up to do from our trip.

Sunday is church. And somewhere in there we'll be getting together with Lizzy to do those cute tree crafts!

I am making DH take me to dinner tonite. The kiddos will eat the leftovers from last night :) DH Is building a shed all weekend and in between trying to make my X-mas cards, X-mas gifts and getting a dumpster full of crap out of the basement I am sure there will be no time for crafting but I WILL fit it in sometime I swear I will

As some point this weekend, we're going to Bass Pro Shops for the free photo with Santa, and to get some pics of Rachel in the winter wonderland area. If I can convince hubby, we might head to North Pole City as well to let Rachel ride their train.

Other than that, it's probably going to be the norm...grocery shopping at Walmart, going to church, cleaning (yeah right).

Tonight I'm taking Mckenna to gymnastics. Tomorrow going to a b-day party, Sunday I HAVE to clean the house and do laundry. And dust the house. And vacuum and mop the floors. I can bet you I'll only do 20% of all that housework.

How is that legal?? :cursing:

Would anyone like to join me at the bar? :cursing:
Came home, FBIL parked in my spot in the garage.
Then, he walked into my room without knocking to hand me the mail. The effing mail can sit where it was if it means you stay out of my room! :cursing:

1 large captain and coke, coming right up!

well Im not really sure it is. My husband works on cars...he is a body tech. So he does not get paid on the clock but by the piece(meaning each job has an estimate and he gets the hours on each job at a rate of about 12-14 dollars an hour). Work has been soooo slow lately and he turned in his hours/jobs but they were not completely done when he turned them in. So anyhow he got paid on what was done which totalled out to 68 dollars!! Yea I am totally serious. He paid 65 dollars this week in gas, 12.50 in tolls and about 25 in lunches. His boss is a flippin' jerk and actually my husband is lucky three of the guys at his job got zero dollars...no check at all this week.

How is that legal?? :cursing:

Tomorrow, Tony is taking the girls to ballet, so it'll just be Benjamin and I here. We'll probably play some Wii and I might scrap a bit. I was going to take the day and do the playroom, but I've had a horrid day and need a break tomorrow. Sunday, will be cleaning day, hopefully I'll get the playroom all done then.

Otherwise, that's it. No plans at all. I may not even leave the house.

Twilight baby.... WOOO HOOO!

Then we have a wedding to go to tomorrow. I'm beyond excited as this will be the first time in seriously almost 5 years that I've spent a night childless!!!

I'm going to be doing the uber boring job of cleaning my office! I cleaned my kitchen today including the fridge and stove! LOL

I'll be crafting in the morning tomorrow. Then I am volunteering at my ds1's swim club's meet. Sunday, we're going to MIL's for early Thanksgiving dinner. She & her husband go to folk dance camp over the long weekend, so she likes to have the kids/grandkids come over on the Sunday before to celebrate our blessings. Of course, it's all dependent on my ds2 who has a viral infection and is running a fever. If that continues, he & I will be staying home on Sunday while dh & ds1 go to Grandma's house.

hoping to hit Costco and buying a ham and other thanksgiving foods. and trying to clean. and just freaking out in general b/c I'm not ready for Thanksgiving.
