WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!!!

TOTALLY Christy!!! and I am right off the I-5 about 5-`0 minutes in Mount Vernon!! So you will definetely have to come visit!!!!
 
Congrats!!! That is fantastic news! ...a new house would be fun...

We bought our house (it was used...think we are like 4th owner or something) about 18 years ago with 1 kiddo...now we have 3 ... and so much stuff I can't ever imagine moving all this STUFF!! I would like to move closer to dh's work but that just won't happen...we have a nice house and it's in a nice quiet neighborhood.
 
Oh my goodness, you ladies are killing me with the prices. Don't move to the East Coast! LOLOL! Our house is 1200 sq. ft, and we paid over $300k, lol. And it's "only" 15 years old and the best deal we found, lol. Once we start having kids, we'll have to move, and then we're hoping to do the same thing and build our dream home. :)


CONGRATS!! That is SO exciting!!
 
Angie, it looks so fabulous!!!! How exciting! We are on a hill as well, and I thought it might be an issue, but it's not. The kiddos love rolling down and using it as a mini sled hill.
 
Ooooh I am soo jealous!! I love the layout and the site and the square feet. I am in desperate space envy! It looks wonderful.

I'm amazed at the price. In Luxembourg, you'd get a small oneoom flat (probably not even new) for that price. Even though that's a bit like comparing apples and oranges, I guess. Still, wow. :-)

I have one question: I never cease to be amazed at the size of US houses. How does one manage to keep them clean? I'm rather losing the battle in my humble rented 80 square metres (860 square feet if the converter is right).
