Watermark....

can somebody tell me how to make a watermark for my photos???? I really want to do this but have no clue....

lol, I've never done it so I'm not really sure how to. Have you tried googling it?

You just make a png of whatever you want the watermark to be/say. Mine is white, but you can change teh color using the color overlay layer style thingy.

I do it using the "process multiple photos" option in PSE. Open all the photos you want to be watermarked, edit them, then go to File>Process Multiple Files. On the left, you'll see all your options for saving. Set those where you want the photo to be saved, and how you want them to be saved. Then on the right, you'll see the watermark option at the bottom of the list of additions. Just choose a font, font size (10-12 is good for saving for web), and the color and opacity. Hit the button and PSE does the rest of the work! I assume it works the same in PS.

I created a brush...it's very easy!

PS

1. New Document
2. Type your text
3. Make sure you change to move tool after you type or set your text by clicking on the checkmark at the top otherwise the next step will be gray and you can't select it
4. Go to Edit<Define Brush Preset
5. Name Your brush and you are set to go!!

It's easy peasy!!!

thanks gals...gonna try this out...I have PS so I would probably have to do the brush thing, but I LOVE the idea that you can do multiple photos in PSE....wonder if you an do that in PS?

You can either make a brush like Kim described or just type text over the top of the image and reduce the opacity. To make the copyright symbol hold down the alt key and type 0169 (if you want that to be part of your logo). If you use a color other than black to define a brush, it will automatically have a reduced opacity. You can batch process in PS.

thanks!!! can you tell me how to batch process in PS? I love when people are uploading just their pictures and they have those cute watermarks and usually just a simple frame around them so I am really wanting to learn how to do that!
