Have y'all seen that movie yet? Me and Kassi just finished watching it- I really enjoyed this and I don't usually like kid movies. So cute!

My 7 year old nephew and I saw it in the theatre and we loved it! I bought the DVD when it came out and hubby loved it too.

I watched it with the boys and I think I liked it more that they did - some of the storyline is a bit over a 4 year old, LOL. But they did enjoy watching it and we will probably rent it again sometime.

Yeah, I think it would have to be older kids to really keep their attention. My dd just turned 7 and she liked it. But she did get up to play with the cats a few times. I'd say any younger than grade school and you're wasting your time LOL. Unless you have a little animal lover like La does ;)

Shannon- here's the movie trailer

Awww - we saw it when it first came out at the movies...it is soooo much better than the previews made it out to be - we LOVED that movie!

We all went out and saw it on Christmas night. I thought it was really cute story about Scotland's fabled water creature. I believe in Nessie!

We didnt even make it through this one :( I totally fell asleep and the kids moved on by the time the little hatchling devoured a trash can full of slimy greens in the shed. Did it get lots better after that? I may have to try it again.

I guess it might not be for some people. It's a bit slower moving story than most kid movies, but it is absolutely wonderful. One of my favourite children's movies in a long time. It's how I wish more movies were made, but maybe I'm in the minority. I love fast-paced non-stop action as much as the next person, but I'm so thrilled when a movie comes along that doesn't feel the need to rely on that, and just lets wonderful storytelling be the movie. I love this sort of story though, and so do my nieces and nephews, so it wasn't a hard sell with us.
