Today my sister turned 35 and she is feeling kind of bummed because of the waiting on the whole adoption process (waiting to be matched), and she is starting to feel "old" (trust me, I know 35 is nowhere near old!!!) and down in the dumps.

She'd be super thrilled to see her FB page # grow as part of their outreach, so if you are so inclined (I know I've asked this before and I swear I won't do this all the time, just trying to make my sister smile!) could you "like" their page?

Yay! Thank you, Julie - you are awesome! My sister (and sometimes her husband) also update their blog from time to time and she's such a good writer...but she's been in such a funk she hasn't written much lately so I am hoping this helps to bring her spirits back up. :) I'm just a worried little sister is all.

And thank you, Angie!! (You posted at the same time as me!) You guys are the best. :wub:
 
Thanks girls! I hope they are matched soon too, Jen. The waiting is killing ME so I can't imagine what it's like for my sister. I can't help in any way other than to help spread their faces all over creation so...that is what I do. :)
 
It's so weird, but when I click your link I go to my FB home page. So I typed in the address manually and FB couldn't find the page :( I don't know if it's my ISP or some weird firewall thingy. i'll keep trying!
 
#709! We adopted our foster daughter last fall and it has been an incredible experience! I'll keep her in my prayers :)
 
#712 here. If it cheers your sister up, it is well worth a minute of my time. I hope their dream for a child comes true soon. :)

This happens to me as well :(

I really hope that they get matched soon. It breaks my heart that such a wonderful, loving family, is having such a long wait to adopt.

i wonder if they have it so only "friends of friends" can find them? Maybe you aren't facebook friends with Sara yet?
 
Huh, I wonder why that would be that people can't find their page?? I will have my sister take a look at the settings on their page. They had FB ads for awhile so I would think that the page is open to anyone...but who knows?! I am a little bit FB illiterate, really. :)

Thank you all sooo much, my sister's spirit has brightened a lot in the past few days!
 
I get the same as the Lex and Terra but I will be keeping my fingers crossed that they are matched soon.
 
Hmmm...maybe. Terra is in Canada and i'm in Manila and I saw Gemma is from the UK. But thing is, their page doesn't even show up in a Facebook search for me. That is weird :(
 
Its probably closed to international visitors (I can't see it either) I remember that happening with another persons page before :)
