... and help some babies while you're at it???!!!
This Saturday I'll be participating in the March for Babies. It is an over 6 mile walk to raise money for the March of Dimes.
I know this is a cause we can all related to, seeing as our galleries are filled with beautiful little babies that we are all so blessed to have. But we all have seen first hand I'm sure, someone who has lost a baby, and those babies that are born too early and just basic survival is a struggle.
The March of Dimes exists to care for those babies, to help those families, and to help advance the medical community to the place where someday every baby can be born healthy.
As you can probably tell, this cause is very near and dear to me. I had preterm labor scares with all of my babies, I delivered my first 5 weeks early (healthy thank the Lord), and with the other three I was on bedrest in one form or the other because of preterm labor pains. Because of this, I have set a rather steep goal for myself, but I KNOW we can get to my goal, I'm only $130 away!
To add to the motivation to sponsor me, I set up this contest on my blog, anyone who donates is in the running to win one of three gift cards $25, $10, and a free kit (your choice).
