I just got the one for my birthday (the 11th) that you pictured above from my DH. He said that the "writting" surface is the same size in the $100 model and the $69 dollar model, but that the "outside" surface is bigger. It also comes with a mouse and mine came with Photoshop Elements 6, but some that I have seen only come with PSE 5. The $100 model also has a pen stand, but the $69 dollar model might have that also!!!

Hope that helps you out some!!! He got mine at Staples for I think $95 bucks. but if I'm not mistaklen I think you are over seas, right!?! MAybe you can have you DH go to a place like Staples or Best Buy and compare the two for you....I know our staples had all of them on display!!!

Good luck in your research!!!

oh you'll love it! I've got the small one like that, and it's perfect. I use it with my laptop and wouldn't want anything bigger.

Enjoy!

The only difference between the cheaper version and the $100 one is that the expensive one (Bamboo Fun) comes with a disc of extra programs. If you've already got PSE5 or 6 (or above) or PS, then just get the Bamboo. The tablet, pen, etc is all the same. It depends on what you're looking at though...some of them say "tablet w/ pen" and some say "tablet w/ pen and mouse" - so you have to look at what you're getting. Personally, I *hate* that stupid mouse and am trying to find a Bamboo without it (I won't use it anyway, so why bother cluttering my house with it).

I've had a Wacom for the last 4 years almost and LOOOOVE it. Mine recently broke and I'm trying to find one locally to replace it.
