Vista help!

Last night there were some Windows updates for my Dell laptop, so I installed them. I didn't bother restarting right away, I just shut it down since it was late at night. Just now I turned it on and entered my password as usual, but I got this instead:

The User Profile Service service failed to logon.
User profile could not be uploaded.



I tried restarting, entered my password - same thing. I can't go anywhere else from that blue screen! I don't know what else to do.

Yikes! I dunno Sam! Guess you could Google that phrase and see what comes up. Hope it fixes itself soon!

you could always call the dreaded dell laptop assistance center

I'm #4 in queue right now. This sucks! All digi stuff is in my laptop and I can't get to it!
