Vista and PS Issues?

Is anyone else having issues with PS CS2 or CS3 using vista?

I can't use the CTRL-ALT-G to create a clipping mask in CS3 and when I tried the CTRL-G in CS2 still couldn't do it.

I've heard CS2 isn't compatible with Vista, but you shouldn't have too many problems with CS3 (however, it is Windows, and issues ARE Microsoft's middle name, lol...)

Did you look in your options in PS and see if that shortcut is enabled? It should be in there somewhere...

I have Vista (64 bit) and PSCS2 and have NO problems. I had the 'it keeps wanting me to register' problem, but Robin helped me figure that out. Otherwise, never a problem.

I use PS CS3 and Vista and haven't noticed any problems.

For clipping masks I just position the cursor btwn the 2 layers until the funny little icon appears and then I alt click. I prefer that to ctrl alt g.

what happens when you do ctrl alt g?

I actually do the same as Mimi. I used to do it Ctrl+Alt+G until I found this precious little gem of a shortcut, lol...LOOOOVE it!

I have no issues with cs2 and vista (oh and i use ctrl alt g for clipping)

my only issue is my stupid tablet driver that WILL NOT INSTALL, but other than that i'm a HUGE lover of vista, it is the prettiest working space I've ever had :)

Well cool! I didnt know that little trick! Thanks! It worked!

Mimi, when I do a ctrl-alt-g absolutely nothing happens and the shortcut is there.

Thanks girls!

if you go to Edit > Keyboard Shortucts and under the set Photoshop Defaults, go to Shortcuts for Palette Menus. click drop down for Layers. scroll down to Create/Release Clipping Mask is ctrl alt g listed as the keyboard shortcut?

ALT+CTRL+G on a Vista with a CS3 get sthe Google Desktop to get in front of CS3 (that is how mine works).

It is a pain, but I just do what Mimi does :D
