Anyone order these?

I'm really trying to find a way to cut my printing costs, I considered switching to Artscow, even though I didn't like their books that much. My only issue is that 39 pages isn't enough for one book for me. I love shutterfly and would stay with them, but I'd like to be able to print more often and be more cost effective. So, tell me about these books, do you love them.

Can you customize the spine?

Vanessa, just wanted to let you know that Shutterfly did another promotion a few days ago. I didn't get a free book in my account (go figure, I'm used to that though, no biggie) but that means that other people did too and are selling them. I grabbed two books on eBay for $8. This is a victory because a month ago when I tried to buy codes, there just weren't any available!

I LOVE them!!! I prefer them over shutterfly and the cost is just AMAZINGLY cheap!

If your book is big enough, you can have words on the spine. You can create the cover (back, front and spine) as one big huge piece. It's kind of cool. So yes, I guess you can customize the spine! they have templates you can lay over your design to make sure everything is laid out right.

Thanks a lot Sarah!!

Thanks Lena, I looked yesterday actually. LOL!

I complained to Shutterfly that I don't think that they give enough to the valued customers, and they game me a free 8x8 book. LOL!

I really want to try this VioVio, they look nice and seem so much cheaper than shutterfly.

Right now I have a 100 page book, 68 page book, and a 20 page book waiting to be printed. LOL!

oooh am interested to see what you think, Vanessa! I'm using VioVio for my 365 book, since no one else will print enough pages for me. :)

Blurb also prints big books, up to 400 pages I think. I did a 150 page one with them for my 365 project last year. I really like their quality. I also like that I can assemble the whole book on my computer & then upload the finished product. very handy with the 365 because I could assemble as I went and make changes very easily.

Inkubook does up to 120 pages I believe. I did one for my dad for his 70th birthday. It came out really nice. It's a matte finish but I can't recall if I chose that or it was a default. A couple of the pages were cropped a bit close despite my adding a boder around them but I think you run the risk of that with anyone.

I've done 2 Viovio books as well. They were both about 40 pages. Their paper isn't quite as heavy as the others but it's good quality. They seem a bit skimpy next to my other books but I think that is because they are so much thinner.

All of them were totally customizeable on the covers depending on what type of binding & how many pages you had

I have used VioVio just to print out my 12x12 pages and then I put them in my own album because I got sooo confused about the cover for the Viovio albums. I think the quality is great - I was very happy with my prints.

I love my viovio book I did, it turned out so good, I also have done the same book through inukubook, but just paper back. I actually liked the paper back version also. The viovio one was for me of my daughters first year, 120 pages. For the cost they are so good. Then I did my daughters first year books for my mom and mil through inukubook and when I signed up got a free book, there is no stipulation about the size of the book so I got a 120 page book for just 6.99 for shipping and handling. turned out great, loved both of them, and to me I have done shutterfly books before, I like the other two companies better than shutterfly, they are so much less money and just the greatest quality.
