May 4th is Remembrance Day here in the Netherlands... so it always feels weird to have it Star Wars themed as well (maybe also because I'm not a SW fan...).

Tonight, at 8pm we will stand still for 2 minutes all over the country to remember those who lost their lives during war and peace operations since the beginning of WWII.

interesting! In France we celebrate May 8th for the end of war. It's a day off for most people (except essential workers)

we celebrate "May Uprising of the Czech people" on the 5th, but on the 8th it´s celebrated the end of the war - and it´s a public holiday nowadays
