Update

I haven't posted in a bit, so I thought I'd do a quick update. Jeff's pain is basically under control but he's not sleeping very well, which is something he plans on discussing w/ his doctor on the 17th. He is able to drive again on Thursday, so that's something we'll be testing out to see how well he can do. He's wanting to go back to work on Saturday for a few hours since he'll be at the commercial desk and able to sit and not be up fetching parts. He's tired of sitting at home, so we'll see how he does.

On Monday we go in the morning for his CT scan, bone scan and then an appointment with the nurse to discuss the drugs and side effects for his chemo.

He will start chemo on the 23rd and will be there for 5 hours. Be aware I may be hunting some of you down via YIM or text message to keep me company. You have been warned.

His incision appears to be healing nicely, although I'm surprised the steri strips haven't begun to fall off.

That's about it.. I'll let you know how the scans go on Monday.. hopefully they are clean.. that's our upcoming hurdle at this point.. and hopefully the last one for a while.

Glad to hear that things are healing and that he is up and about a bit more. I've been praying for you all and will continue to do so. Thanks for the update.

Still praying! I hope that working for a few hours helps him with that restless feeling and that chemo takes it easy on him and kicks the cancer's butt!

thanks for the update... continuing to lift you all up in my prayers... I'll put it in my calendar for the 23rd... to have YIM on in case you can't find anyone to keep you company

Thanks for the update! I've been thinking about you and your family constantly. Sending lots of prayers.

And you are more than welcome to find me on YIM I'm normally on all day. xhollyxannx if you need someone to talk to.

My uncle did chemo for his cancer and I know how long it takes and how draining it is for everyone.

Thanks for the update, Sara. I've been thinking about you a lot and praying that things will go well from here on out.

Sara.....hunt me down whenever you want. :) You know how to get a hold me. :) It sounds like he is doing pretty good now that his pain is under control. He sounds A LOT like my hubby though. My man can't stand sit still and be away from work long. LOL Good luck with that. Ha!

((HUGS))

Good to hear the pain in under control Sara. Hopefully the doctor can help with the sleeping issues. I will keep praying for you all. Best wishes for the scan and chemo.

You have my prayers and support, love. Always! Feel free to hunt me down anytime you need to talk!

You will continue to be in my thoughts, most especially for a clean scan. Scanxiety is so hard. Hugs and you can always always hunt me down. I'm not on yahoo, but I'm on AIM.

Thanks for the update Sara. I know you probably know already but you and Jeff and the kids are all in my prayers and I will continue to keep you guys there. Much love!

Thanks for the update sara! Sounds like he's going the right direction. Glad he's going to talk with the Dr. about sleeping, seems as if he's willing now to ask for some help! I think going back to work will be the right thing, guys don't do so good sitting around!

Stay strong Sara I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers that the scans are good. I am sure it's very hard to sleep with everything that is on your husbands mind right now. Let him go to work it might help.

You are still in my thoughts and prayers.

I hope his work is able to find more ways for him to be able to go in like he wants.
