LOL.. gosh my life is so boring :D :D :D :D

So anywayz.. a week later, mr fish is still kickin :) He got sick what... 2 weeks ago? Something like that.. but he's doing GREAT. He's still in his solo tank, but I just cleaned it out for the 2nd time and he didn't pitch a fit this time (LOL) and went right back in like nothing happened. I'm kind of glad he's getting all this 1:1 attention because it's calming him to my presence. He and his little buddies have been really skiddish for months and it was annoying me. Anyway.. he's doing great, eating, pooping, swimming like normal-- well he's not really eating like normal yet, he was a bit of a pig in his pre-sick days and he struggles to eat still.. but he's getting there.
He is still very pale.. and he still has the big ugly wound on his side (it seems to be healing, but it looks gross).. so he'll stay in the solo tank until the wound is completely healed.. lest I Want that mean fish to bite him again. I'm sure once he starts eating normally he'll get some colour back again... I'm goin g to keep him on the antibiotics for a few more days (I think he just doesn't like the taste of the food) and then start introducing his real food back and see if it helps him regain his strength.

yay fishie :)

that is all.. :D carry on.

Yay for Mr Fishie!! I really want some fish but Jordan says no. I want to get one to put in the vase with the plant on top. I'll probably do it without asking him one weekend, lol!

YAY! I'm so glad Mr Fishie is getting better. Will you be scrapping the saga of Mr Fish getting better?

oh, I'm glad he's doing better!

We had a sick, swimming-upside-down goldfish who turned out to have fish TB. ACK. We had to get rid of him because apparently there is a risk that they can pass it to people! I couldn't stand to just flush the poor guy who had been our pet for like 3 years. I read somewhere that you could euthanize them with clove oil, so I sent my DH to the pharmacy to get some. They treated him like he had some sort of weird clove drug fetish, so we ended up putting him in the freezer, which I read somewhere else was a more humane way to do it. Poor fishie! :(
