Update on Bree's surgery...

Hey gals! I thought that I should give you guys an update on Bree. She had her gall bladder surgery last Wednesday, and was doing well with recovery.

Yesterday she started feeling unwell and by the time her DH got home from work she was in extreme pain. He ended up taking her to the hospital, where she has spent one night already hopped up on morphine (which is not touching the pain at all). I was just talking to her on the phone a couple minutes ago and she was saying she will be spending at least another night there while the doctors run more tests. They've already ruled out a stuck gall-stone. She's had a CT scan and the doctors are thinking that its leaking bile (!!) in her stomach cavity thats causing the pain. They will be running more tests tomorrow to determine the exact cause of her pain.

So please keep her in your thoughts for a speedy recovery!!

I had gallbladder issues all through both of my pregnancies. It went away after I had the kids, but it totally sucked.

Oh, I hope she's feeling better soon. I had my GB taken out over a year ago and I still get twinges every once in awhile. I always worry something like this might happen. I'll be sending lots of positive thoughts her way.
