Well I just got the call about my laptop...it's toast. 
So I'm making the switch to a desktop. Jay and I will just share a desk, and monitor, but will have seperate towers. He's normally not on his computer that much anyway but it will definitely be an adjustment for us.
I'm losing the mobility of the laptop but I'm gaining the space and performance from the desktop. So it kinda balances itself out. Thankfully I only lost a few small things, mainly everything was backed up on my EHD. But now I have to wait for the desktop to get here. And then of course set everything back up. I'll be up and running hopefully by the end of next week. I really don't mind either setup. Logically it would be better for me to have a desktop with all the scrapbooking and photography stuff I do. It's just a pain of waiting, and readjusting, and getting everything back to how I like it.
