Ugh. The Zoo.

We all know how much I hate the zoo. :p

It's zoo season again so we are making our first official trip this week. At least there is a new carousel this year.

Anyone else hate the zoo?! Come join me, my sisters! ;)

BTW, Miss Kristin, you promised me that you'd make me a pink zoo kit. You also promised that it would be a collab with Jenn Barrette. You obviously have a lot of work ahead of you. :D
 
aww we kind of love the zoo as controversial as that is to say lately. :/ Are you going to Indy? We have passes but can't go this week but I want to go soon!
 
I'm with Traci. Don't go to places you hate. I don't go to the zoo. It's too hot and the kids will end up whining about how much they have to walk. No thanks.

I like the zoo, but only if we go first thing in the morning when the temperature is nice and the crowds are smaller.

Yes, exactly this. Actually, I almost enjoyed the zoo more when we went more often because then there was less pressure to try to see everything every time.
 
We aren't zoo people, either... Jake has been to a zoo like 3 times. I only take him so he can see the animals "up close" and not just in a book. But then our local zoos are lame... maybe I would feel different if we went to a great one. Milwaukee isn't bad, but when we went, it was hot and so many people...
 
I hate zoo here in Beijing! Sooooo many people that instead of enjoying seeing the animals, I am usually pissed by the bazillions of people that are there, who are soooo inconsiderate!
 
I go there because my kids looooooove animals. My daughter has wanted to be a veterinarian since she was 4 years old.

My mom buys the membership so I'm not out any money for it at least. :p

She usually takes the kids but I force myself to go with them a few times a year.
 
I'm indifferent. I'll go for the exercise, but if the kids never want to go again, I'm okay with that too. Although, there is a new tiger habitat/walkway thing that we'll have to see before our membership expires.
 
I actually love the zoo. Except i'm nervous about any incidents while there and then a leopard escaped our zoo yesterday!
