We've been out of school just over a week now and I've been sick for 4 days of it. I gave in and called the doctor today so I go in for an appointment in 45 minutes. Part of me is really thankful that I didn't get sick during school because I would have had to miss work for this. I'm mostly annoyed though that my summer break got off to such a lousy start. My daughter's first softball game was last night and while I was there, I didn't feel like I was there because I feel so rotten. I think its either strep throat or a wicked sinus infection. I guess I'll find out in a bit. I've had a fever, aches and pains, my ears hurt, my throat is on fire and I'm having a lot of sinus pressure/pain. No fun. I slept for, maybe, 3 hours last night. I've been miserable.
Sinus infection he said. Well, he said 'raging sinus infection'. LOL I'm definitely miserable. Hopefully only for a few more days.
