Ugh, my neighbors

are driving me nuts. We live in a really nice new community. I guess we're in what you'd call townhouses?

There's 4 homes in each, and we live in one of the middle ones. So we share a porch with one neighbor and our driveway runs between our porch and the other neighbors porch. All these homes are 4 bedroom, so there's plenty of kids around - which I don't mind at all...
Until I'm backing out of my driveway and they all cluster around my car and refuse to move so I can back out. Or they leave their bikes in my drive so everytime I come home I have to stop on the street and get out and move them. Or even better last night I backed completely over a stupid scooter that had been left right in front of my garage door and I didn't even see it. :cursing: I got out and threw it into one of the neighbors yards, I wasn't sure which one it belonged to, only that it's been left in my drive numerous times. I hope I bent it so bad it's not ridable anymore.

lol, someone called the MPs on the one neighbors a while back I think, cause they came out and when they left, the neighbors removed their swimming pool from our front porch-that a ton of kids played in everyday- and they got rid of their poor dog kept out back in their fenced in yard and cleaned it up and even filled in the holes he'd dug on our side of the fence(he was always chewing up everything in their yard and the trash would blow into ours) and I think they think it was me that called(I'd threatened to, but hadn't yet) cause now they yell at their kids if they even look over at us in our yard or try to talk to us.
Ugh, sry girls just had to vent and get it out. Running over the scooter last night really got me p.o.'d about the whole thing. I think I'm actually glad about moving out of here soon! How would you deal with it? Like I said, I haven't called the community office, or the MPs, but I have talked to the one neighbor about her kids (and 1 1/2 year old!) walking right up to my car when I'm trying to back out. It's just rediculous.

I so feel for you!! One of our neighbors down the road has their teenagers always hanging in front of their house and while I cant prove it I think they are smoking pot and drinking in front of their house. They lay down in the road and will not move for cars driving down the road. Another neighbor lets her dogs run loose and they terrorize my cats and kids, and another has loud parties til three or four in the morning several times a year

ETA:my thoughts were sooo spacey and I didnt proofread before posting

Yikes, that sounds like a nightmare! Just had to tell you I used to live at Ft Gordon :) Augusta is sweltering this time of year, huh? It's a small world :)

dang it! the worst thing about running a scooter or whatever over is it can seriously jack your car up. sorry, brie!

Oh, I know you have been having problems with them for a while! Sorry hun but I know some people just have no manners! My neighbor lets her kids come over and play with AL's stuff without even asking and it is annoying as heck. Anyway, hope they get the message with the scooter! Sorry hun and lots of :hugs:

I am right there with you, I have what I like to call the "nosy-neighbor boy". Every time I am trying to relax out in the backyard, this kid pops up over the fence. Now, I wouldn't care if he got down after I said hello, but he just stands there. It's like geez, a little privacy please. That's the only thing I hate about living in base housing. Tons of kids, playing in the street and just standing in the middle of the street, like I am suppose to move my truck out of their way!!!

Plus, I am allergic to cigarettes and my neighbor smokes, ALOT!! If I go out front, she comes out front, if I go out back, she goes out back. Now, I know it's outside and all, but the smell disgusts me, not too mention sends me into a sneezing frenzy!!

SO, I feel your pain!!
