Today he told me that when he ordered my Wacom Tablet, the guy behind the counter said "my girlfriend uses one of these for digital scrapbooking".

As you know, it's rare to find someone else who does it IRL. But in our tiny country town, the odds are even smaller.

So of course I got all excited and asked about it...he says "oh I didn't mention you did it as well". Now I'll never find this elusive digi scrapper in my home town :(

Husbands! I still don't know anyone IRL who does digi-scrapping, and that's in a city of 4.5 million!

Men! My hubby would never know what a Wacom Tablet is...or probably what digital scrapbooking is for that matter. He knows I do this but never really asks anything about it.

Behind the counter? Maybe you could go to the store and ask?

DH wouldn't know what a wacom was, but he knows I get giddy when I meet someone from Digiland. LOL!

LOL men!!! The other day my husband said off-handedly to me, "It's the 21st century. Who does scrapbooking?" Let's just say he's learned to never talk about scrapbooking like that again!!

He's changing it today so I printed out a business card. He wasn't going to take it but I said maybe we'll get a new customer and there was his lightbulb moment :D I'm dying to know who it is!

When my daughter was in kindy a few years ago I met a Mum who made cards. Digital versions. So we hit it off and would talk about it for hours. She's the closest I've come to finding someone IRL who understands our mumbo jumbo.

That's one reason it's been so much fun to get together with Jenn, Nicole and Juli. We speak the same language.

Hopefully he can remember which guy it was LOL! :p

Last month when I went to the scrapbook expo here in Utah, I was like whoa, I'm not crazy! It was surreal to see other people doing what I do and lugging around suitcases bigger than mine (my husband thought I was mad to take my laptop and my EHD with me in a small suitcase). I took a few pictures there to proof to my husband that I didn't make it all up LOL.
