twitter and hashtags...

yes, thats a hashtag.

I can create one for ssd and use it as often as you can, it drives more traffic to you, and it creates more of a "stir"
 
I searched #SSD and it brings up a LOT of stuff that's simply not related to this site. #sweetshoppe might work better.

I don't get the point of twitter. Does that make me old? :blink:

I also get very bored with Facebook and only go on it when someone adds me as a friend. I think maybe I am old.

I registered for Twitter YESTERDAY, people. I've been kicking and screaming...really dragging my heels to resist it. I haven't done anything except update my settings. Not really sure what I should do. Honestly...it seems weird to pull up a website to tell people you are grumpy or just washed the dishes. I don't get it. At all.

I still don't have a Facebook account.

I kind of view it as an advanced IM and social networking. I know some people do just the status updates and that's ok, just there's more to twitter than just status updates.

I keep reading that there's more to it than status updates but no one ever elaborates on what more there is. haha @'s and #'s?
 
I am completely clueless and like Krystal, I'm having to be drug into FB and Twitter kicking and screaming! I just don't get it. Why not just blog??
