Tummy bug...

Will you guys send some prayers and good thoughts our way? As silly as it sounds, I'm absolutely terrified of stomach bugs and I do everything I can to help my family avoid them. Somehow my oldest, Ryan (12), has gotten one. He started throwing up last night and is still sick now. So far, no one else is sick, but I know it's just a matter of time and I'm so anxious about it. The baby has never been sick. :crying:

We're trying to isolate and take precautions, but you all know how it is. If you can spare a minute, please pray that it doesn't spread or that it's not toooooo bad. :crying:
 
hugs hugs hugs! I SO understand and am sending you tons of thoughts and prayers, It's my biggest fear too so <3 <3 I hope everyone else stays well :(
 
I hate tummy bugs, too! Keep disinfecting and best of luck! I remember when my husband had Norwalk virus - I left him food and drinks at the bedroom door but I wouldn't let him leave the room because I didn't want my baby to get it. I even "lysoled" around the door. I don't think I've ever washed my hands so much either. Fortunately it paid off though because the baby and I didn't get it.
 
Oh no, Jen! Sending prayers and good thoughts that Ryan recovers quickly and that the rest of the family stays healthy! I know you're an "oil person" like me, so I'm sure you're using those for prevention and treatment. Hang in there, mama! :hugs:
 
I am so so so sorry! I feel your pain and can relate soooo much! I hate stomach bugs and do not handle them well at all! Last time the kids were sick they kept saying they wished Daddy was there cause I am so awful about playing nurse with stomach stuff :/ Saying prayers for you guys!
 
I totally understand......my biggest fear was when I had the FLU so I took all precautions my 2 year old would not get it...wore masks the entire week. Prayers are being sent your way from New Mexico. (((hugs)))
 
Thanks everyone! My MIL came and got the other 2 to try to keep them safe. I have cleaned and disinfected everything, we're using oils to try and prevent the spread, and I've even resorted to drinking ACV in water. :unsure: I'm not quite as anxious as I was earlier, but I'm dreading tonight. Why does it always hit at 2am??? I so appreciate all of the thoughts and prayers! :wub:
