Trends (in Scrapping)

Hi gals! I'm feeling like I want to 'fresh' up my pages a little & explore some new trends!

What are the hottest new trends now??? Descriptions or LO's or pictures are all fine!

It's not a new trend by any means, but I do see more and more people using paint, splatters and sprinkles on their pages. I'm obsessed with adding those little extra touches to my page and can't get enough of them. They are so versatile b/c you can recolor, resize, change blending mode, etc.
 
I too see more and more people using paint or sprinkles or confetti on their pages. I also see a lot of geometric layouts. (Which I love) And I feel like I see a lot of layouts with large pictures on them.

I was thinking about the large pictures too!
 
I don't feel like there are any huge trends right now. It's not like when gold exploded into the scrapping world or when we were seeing hexagons or triangles all over the place. Watercolors seem popular (in scrapping and elsewhere), but that's all I can think of. We're due for something new to hit big soon.
 
I kind of feel like Rachel! Remember when owls hit the scene?! they were everywhere! LOL! I am seeing a lot of fun color schemes and definitely a bit more graphic prints and things. Bold patterns. Watercolors and gold are definitely still pretty current. :)
