Traci Reed's Slip Ins

Hi! I picked up Traci Reed's freebie slip-in page from her Document Your Life series. I am thinking about buying more to do a full album, but wanted to try it out first so I was very excited to see that she had a sample.

Anyway, I must be really slow or something because I can't figure out how to use it. Do I just put it over top of my page the way it is? Or do I need to use a blending mode with it? I just can't seem to make it look as good as it does in the preview and figure I must be doing somehting wrong.

I know this is an old thread, but I too need help with the slip ins - particularly the Slip Ins 6 by Traci Reed. I need help from step one. There seems to be two elements for each banner - a clear and a black - do I use both?

Thanks much!

Brenda, who typically can figure these things out, but this one has me stumped!

Hey! What you need to do is open both, layer the clear on top of the black, and then you clip your paper into the black ones. All it is is to make it easier for you to get your papers into the flag shapes.
