TOU question re: SSD Collabs

I am working on a book proposal with a previously published author. She is doing primarily paper scrapping and I am doing primarily digital.

Is it okay for me to use the Sweet Shoppe Collab kits in the layouts I create for the book? (I may need something more formal written later, but wanted to verbally ask now so I can get started on a couple things.)

Also, are the designers here okay with their products being used for print publications? Some of the TOUs vary greatly and the digi world seems to have a more varied reaction than my previous experience with the paper world (where they were thrilled for the ad opp).

Robin is on vacation through Monday, and I'm sure that when she gets back she'll be able to answer your question! :)

As for the second half - I guess I can't speak on everyone's behalf but I would think all would be OK with having their products used on layouts that get pubbed! But I'll direct everyone here to answer your question. For my part, YES you may use my designs, if you were considering it! :)
 
Well, shoot! I thought I had responded to this yesterday, but my post isn't here. LOL I'd say absolutely you can use anything of mine. :) I would think the collabs would be fine too, but I'm sure Robin can give you an absolute answer. Good luck with this!!

Congrats Rachael - that sounds like an awesome opportunity for you!! :D

For me, I think it would be great exposure if any of my stuff got published, and I'd be more than happy for you to use it!! As for the collabs, I'm sure that'd be cool too, but maybe check with Robin to make sure :)

I wouldnt even consider doing a book that didn't allow for credits, so don't worry about that! :)
