Between Friday and Saturday morning, my Grandson who will be 3 in April and his "Partner in Crime", I mean his Sister, have gotten into my refrigerator 3 times....This is what I found yesterday morning when my Daughter woke me up yelling "Mom, Mom!" It seems that they got up while everyone was still asleep....I did not get any pictures of them in action, but thought to grab the camera while my daughter started cleaning up....

ooooooh... eggs are SO hard to get cleaned up! I dropped one the other day, and it took like 5 paper towels to get all the goo off the floor!

I think you might need a fridge lock thing!

Robin, they do keep me on my toes....Never a dull moment around here....Some days I want to pull my hair out by the roots, one by one....LOL

Jaedyn, you are right about the refrigerator lock thing....We are going to Toys R Us to get one....Hubby checked Walmarts for one today, but they don't carry them....Daughter had to mop the floor 3 times to get it all cleaned up....Better her than me....

well hopefully it doesn't happen again, but I read somewhere that you can dump salt on the spilled egg and it cleans up easier. :)

heee heee... this made me laugh! Can you imagine if it were 2 against one?!?! At least between your DH, your daughter, and yourself, you guys still outnumber them!

thats not to bad. My son got up one morning when he was about 2 maybe 3 and "made me breakfast". Meaning he dumped out pancake mix, eggs, ketchup, mustard, milk, syrup...pretty much all the condiments in the fridge in the middle of the floor and was mixing it up when I got up. I heard him laughing and heard him drop something and that is why I got up. I can only imagine what would have happened if I had not gotten up as quickly as I did. I on the other hand was to mad to even think to take pictures LOL. It took FOREVER to clean up and he had it all over him too cause he was "mixing" it with his own hands :p

ETA:that was a long time ago. He is now almost 12 so I dont have to worry about that kinda thing anymore. Now its more about keeping him from eating everything in sight LOL

Sara, thanks for the tip about salt....I'll keep it in mind, but hope not to have to try it....Hopefully they will stay out of the refrigerator 'til I get to Toys R Us to get that refrigerator strap thing....LOL

Robin, actually what woke my daughter up was my Granddaughter took an egg into her bedroom and touched it against her Mommy's face....LOL Good thing it was a whole egg and not yet broken....

Oh Jessica, I can't imagine waking up to your son "cooking" you breakfast that way....LOL I know just what you mean about keeping him from eating everything in sight....I have two grown step-sons who used to eat me out of house and home....We never could have "left overs" 'cause they would eat them after we went to bed at night....

When my nephew was around 2 and a half, he dumped 10lbs of potatoes all over the kitchen... I know, I know!... you're thinking, "So what, that's not hard to clean up!" The potatoes do clean up easily, yep, but not the pack of blue jello crystals he flung all over his sister's room (carpeted room) while mom was picking up the potatoes! :D

I hear ya' Jami....LOL We have two baby gates, but my Grandson is an expert gate climber AND gate taker downer....LOL
