time waster...

if you hit stats you can see what achievements & upgrades you've unlocked/what you need to get still.. though more pop in later dependent on what you do
 
We now have it running on all three computers. I find it funny how each member of my family has a different technique...

I have been buying each item and upgrade as I come to it, getting one of everything BEFORE going and buying more of the cheaper items like grannies and cursors... I want to get one of everything, then go back and get more.

My brother started by getting 17 cursors, and NOW is starting to accumulate large groups of grannies and farms, saying that gets him farther at once than waiting for the expensive stuff, but is getting upgrades intermittently that are relevant to his stuff.

My mom is just trying to skip upgrades for the moment and focus on THINGS, then go back for upgrades when she has all the things...
 
Aww crap, now I can't stop going back and seeing where I'm at. I closed it down last night (well I thought I minimized it and then couldn't find it so I said oh well and forgot about it). This topic made me go check, and there it was - making cookies anyways. So stupid me said "let's play a little" and now I can't stop peeking back and buying more stuff, lol.
 
eventually the grannies cost just as much as the antimatter condensers anyway lol. there's achievements for having 50, 100, 150, 200 etc dependent on what it is.. so buy up :p

lol yeh, the first time my computer was..unexpectedly shut down :p I was pouting because I thought i lost my cookies.. nope ^__^
 
I'm working on getting to 100 of everything now. Well, 100 of the 'cheaper' items. I've got 100 cursors, 100 grannies, 100 farms, 85 mines, 75 factories, 65 shipments, 45 alchemy labs, 12 time machines and 3 antimatter condersors lol
 
Doh - tried straight up exiting out of the window (hoping it would keep going) and it didn't. Lesson learned - gotta at least minimize it. Can't just close it.

5 minutes of my life I will never get back. LOL

Now I want a cookie....for reals.
 
LOL Jennifer- I got my hubby hooked, and he made me go out and buy him Oreos :) (I'm still not turning the oven on until it's not 90F everyday!

to be honest...I'll probably just make the dough and skip the baking portion :P it's still hitting 90 here but if I bake them first thing tomrorow morning it will only be like 65. Cookies are acceptable for breakfast, right?
 
So, the cookies. I'm in the middle of something kinda frightful... and no one else is mentioning it so I'm wondering if I'm the only one going through it... lol.

The grandma thing? I'm ... at the beginning of it I think. I googled about the game cuz I had some questions, and I read weird things about a grandma apocalypse or something with ... Well, I'm not quite sure, but it sounds ... interesting, lol
 
I've been playing four different versions of this... two on my PC, one on my Nexus and one on the iPad. LOL

Cookie clicker classic is the second version I'm playing. I started with clicking the cookie 5 times to get one cursor and haven't clicked since.

The other one I am working my way up to 100 of everything. I have 7 portals, 39 time machines and 54 antimatter condensers to go to hit 100 across the board.

I think getting cookies is the hardest on the iPad. I'm only at like 40 cookies per second on it where I'm at a couple of hundred per second on my Nexus and played less. The PC versions add up the fastest though. :)
 
Oh, nothing impressive, Jen. I just started this afternoon. It's a crazy stupid activity . . . but strangely addictive.
 
I know! it's so addictive. I can't stop playing. I'm trying for my 100 of everything...should get it in the morning lol.
