How do you keep track of appointments and stuff? have some sort of system you use?

Paper or electronic?

my palm centro (it's my celly and a full palm). everything (and i mean everything) goes in it, so my mind doesn't blow a fuse.

I've had a Palm since 2000 and can't live without it. (I'm on my third one.) I have both work and personal schedule on there, all my contacts, and lots of notes and memos I write to myself. I may need to get a Centro and just integrate my phone with my Palm!

how do you like having everything on your phone?

I don't know if I would like that or not. I frequently misplace my phone . . .

I have some little Palm thing, which I do like using but I keep forgetting to keep it charged.

well my phone is with me at all times (and i don't lose it :p) so i love it! it's so handy! it has google maps and yellow pages intigrated so if i ever need a phone number or directions someplace it's there too. oh and i have full internet and instant messaging capabilities so i have everything!

oooooh and it has tv on it that comes automatically with my sprint plan so if i'm ever out with the kids for a long time and they get bored they can watch tv! it's has disney and nick on it...full episodes!

i really really love my phone!

post it notes. lmao seriously. I know, I am sad, and need a life

oh my gah. i am a post it note junkie too! if i don't want to enter something into my palm right away, it goes on a sticky. i have a little post it pad with me all the times too and at my desk at work i have like 3 pads and in my desk drawer at home and in my nightstand i have like 8 diff pads. i'm pathetic but i always need to write stuff down.

We have a calendar hanging in the kitchen with everything on it. I have a Palm and used to love it, especially pre-kids when I was just scheduling for me. As the family got busier I started to find that I needed something where I could see everything at once without needing to flip forward and backward. It also works better when DH can check it himself, without me needing to tell him everything.

I  post notes. If I could figure out how to keep track of everything using just those I probably would. :D

I use a combination of a iCal and a task manager program called Things on my Mac. I also try and follow this system called Getting Things Done which helps me stay on top of things and not get overwhelmed. I don't always keep up with it but I find when I do I feel much more on top of things.

Now if I could just figure out a good method for dealing with actual mail, I'd be all set.

I use the web site Cozi - It is the BEST!!!!
ok, checked out Cozi again. I guess you don't have to d/l it to your computer anymore.

anyway, it is COOL! you can call their number and a voice can read your shopping list or calendar to you or you can have it texted to your phone. I'm always forgetting my shopping list at home so this is great!

my head. Yeah, I'm horrible at using planners. I've tried many times. We have a calendar, but don't really use it. I might right stuff on it, but I never look at it again.

I have a small purse-sized dayplanner that is my best friend. everthing goes in it as far as appointments and stuff. I wouldn't mind having a palm, but its just not do-able for us financially right now.

I use a day planner with week-at-a-glance. It has pocket pages inside so I can keep important papers in it. I have 4 boys and they all are assigned their own color of pen so it's easy for me to see who has what each day. A few years ago I customized the cover like this:

Wow, had to go back to my 2peas gallery to find a photo of it.

It's held up pretty well, but it might be time for a new design.

I use google calendar with my google sidebar. I have a to-do list on my google side bar as well as a notes section. It works for me since I am not an overly organized person and don't need an elaborate system. Plus it is all free!

Paper all the way. I have these 6''x6'' notebooks from Target that have a pen inside and a rubber band around the cover. I'm on my third one. Each day gets a page. I love being able to cross things off and see how productive I've been each day. I'm a bit anal when it comes to organization... :p

I have my older kids using it too - they put their own appt in so I know where they have to be (birthday parties - school dances) - and they can access it from the computer lab at school -

I used to use a week at a glance day timer but last year I got a familytime.mine planner. It's 2 weeks at a glance with monthly calendars, lists and schedule planners for each season.

My visual reminder is on a regular calender hanging up in our kitchen. Then I use my phone's alarm clock to remind me as well. Especially if I have to remember to ask somebody a question 5 hours later, I put it on my phone when I know I will see the person and it reminds me. :)

Usually my head... I sometimes write down stuff on scraps of paper and stick them in my purse.

Hence the reason I forget EVERYTHING!!!

I actually bought an LG Music earlier this year but DH wanted us to stick with the Nextel phones because of the 2-way options so I took it back. I hate my new phone. :(

Hey, Sonja...I'm with you for the most part! I have a notebook size planner (from WallyWorld) that has a big calendar with lines on each day and I use that.

My most technical things are my camera and my scrapping software. I DESPISE cell phones (no offense to y'all who love them...this is just me talking) and would never use it or a palm planner to its capacity or get my money's worth from it.

When my kids' notes come home from school, everything gets jotted in little lines for that day and the notes can either be recycled or stuck in the back of the book if I need to save information/details on it.

I don't carry it with me, it stays on my desk by the phone and other things get written down in my wallet when I'm out and about.

SOO old fashion, I know...but it works for me! :)

I have such a hard time with this! I am kind of a girl who has lists for lists. I have flopped back and forth between a Palm Treo phone and a regular paper planner in my purse. I like to visualize crossing things off, so have been using paper more lately. Ahh to be 100% organized... is that possible?
