TIFF files...I need a push!

I've got 33.8GB of TIFF files saved on my computer. I'm scared to delete them, even though I've printed half of the pages already. I even have them backed up to backblaze.

Tell me why I should keep them? Or better yet, kick me in the butt and tell me to get deleting!!

lol, I'm on the same boat! I'm scared to delete them, even the ones that I have printed already just in case I decide I might use the same layout again for another page. Silly, I know, since most of them use templates anyway! But in my defence, I have to say that the pages I'm talking about are all from my boy's first year book, and since my dd only has a half finished First Year book in PAPER, it is my plan to make her a new digital version as well. So those layered files might still come handy for me.

I'd say: go through them again and see if there are any specific layouts you'd love to re-use. Keep those and delete the other ones!

I delete them after a few weeks, I don't have the space on the laptop or on my ehd to save them. I don't really journal on them so it's not like I need to keep them for spelling mistakes and if any shadows are wonky I realise once they are in my galleries.

I've never (nope, never!!) deleted a tiff file. In my defence though, I've never printed them either. I know, I need to get on that soon, lol. I scrap out of sequence and want to print them in a book, so I have to wait till I have a full year ready to print. I'm just about finished organising my 5 year old's first year book, and then I will keep a high res jpeg and delete the tiff.

Go ahead, you can do it!! :D

Good luck. ;)

So, I lost 2 years of TIFF files when my harddrive crashed this summer (I moved all the jpgs in time) and already had those printed... and, I haven't wished I had them yet, nor do I ever think I will.

That wasn't by choice, but, I think once I have mine printed, I could delete now that I've been through it!

DELETE THEM!!! I keep mine till they are backed up (about a month) and then I delete them!!I keep a full sized Jped uploaded to Persnickety Prints though...just incase I would ever need to reprint a page.

But I was wondering is Backblaze one of the ones that if you delete it off your computer they delete it off their server!?!?! You might want to check into that!!!
