Thoughts on the Pantone colour of 2014?

I'm usually more of a blue-purple fan, but I like this one! Definitely more of an accent color, though. It's going to be everywhere in the spring!

I certainly think there are worst colors they could have picked. I could totally see myself pairing this as cardigan with a cream top and gray pants. I like it as a pop. I also have two girls, one of whom is obsessed with purple. I am sure these colors will make into our house one way or another.

Not a fan of lighter shades of purple. I prefer deeper, jeweled tones of it. But then, i didn't think the shade of emerald for this year was deep/bright enough to be called "emerald."

I'm not a fan bc orchid is an undecided color. Is it pink? Is it purple? I like both of those... but not really the mix of them both. Give me something rich and vibrant!!

I love purple! These aren't the best as I like more vibrant colours, but I still think they're pretty.

I love emerald as its one of my favorite colors. However, I loathe purple so this years' is not for me. :closedeyes:
