This would be the best birthday present of all

First of all my birthday isn't for close to 2 months but today I applied for entry into my nursing degree. There are 60 spaces for the mid year intake (they normally don't have a mid year intake) so I am hopeful that by the end of June/early July I will have some even better news to tell you all. If I am successful I will probably be starting on July 16th as the program generally starts a week before most other programs do.

Thanks Jacinda - it would mean so much to start this year rather than be waiting for next year where the number of applicants way out weighs the number of spots (over 400 applications for 150 spots)

My daughter is in the nursing major as well, and soon she'll be in this same waiting game as you are in. They accept about 80 students a year, out of approx 850 applications. Eeek!!
