Things you never thought you'd say...

Remember before you had kids and you heard other mothers saying the most outrageous things and you thought, "I'll never say those things". Well, I compiled a list of my all-time "things I never thought I'd say" phrases and put them on my blog. Enjoy! And feel free to add your own! I'm always up for a good giggle!!

I can so relate to a lot of those. Here's some I found myself saying a lot to my beloved son:

1. So how did you "accidentally" get peanut butter in your sister's hair?
2. Just because you can pee standing up, doesn't mean you have to do it in the front yard.
3. The toilet bowl is NOT an acceptable swimming pool for your sister's Barbies.
4. No, you can NOT sing the name game just so you can say the F word.
 
Oh those are so great! ... I should start keeping track, and even better ... recording some of this stuff for a layout! (Does anyone NOT think of every photo op as a layout op? Or is it just me?)

No, ketchup does NOT count as a vegetable. (to my daughter)

You have to eat all your chicken before you can have more green beans! (to my oldest child)

oh man ... I'm positive I have better ones than these, but this is all I can think of for now!
 
I *know* that dogs go poop in the yard, but that doesn't mean YOU get to! (to my oldest when he finally was ready to potty train ... and he pooped in the back yard ... in town!!! AcK!)
 
oh my!! those are friggin hilarious...how's a storm trooper get in the toilet?? that one must have been directed to jeff. :)
 
Oh I always think of these things when I say them and then I forget!

I'm always saying...
Stop kissing your brother (my middle son)
Get the elephant out of your nose (to my oldest who thinks his favorite stuffed animal is also a tissue... ick)
Stop eating the carpet... to my youngest, of course! LOL!

The craziest thing I've heard myself say,

"Stop hitting your brother with your snake and just eat it!" (gummy snake of course!)
 
Yes, I know the basketball fits perfectly in the potty, but that's not where it belongs.

Don't you want to watch more Mickey Mouse? (lol)

Stop playing with it!!! (as I'm changing a super-poopy diaper)

I think the weirdest thing I ever said to my daughter was "humans dont hatch chickens!!"
My daughter had smuggled a dozen eggs in her backpack and was just sitting on it when she was about 2 years old. I saw her sitting on the backpack and I was like what are you doing?? She was like I want a baby chicken LOL. Needles to say it was not fun washing a dozen eggs out of the front pocket of her backpack!
 
This is so funny!

I swear my niece did some really silly stuff too but for the life of me, I just couldn't remember off the top of my head..
 
Yesterday I said the line from the old Bill Cosby routine

"Nobody ever touches anybody in this house ever again!"
 
"Take your hand out of your pants and your finger out of your nose!" I've said it so much to Trevor that he proudly announces "Mommy, I'm keeping my hand out of my pants and my finger outta my nose!" <insert big smile from him> My standard resonse now is "That is great honey!" LOL
 
LOL... JJ likes to lick people.. so I'm constantly saying.. stop licking. Or stop hitting your sister. Or... stop being mean to your brother. Now I don't even look at them, I just say it. LOL
 
ROFLMAO, girls, I'm just crying from laughing too hard! Now I can't wait to have babies myself... Parenting is such a fun adventure! LOL
 
Yesterday at the beach:

Amelia is running in the surf, Rae starts throwing rocks:

Me: Rae, don't throw rocks at Sissy
Rae: But I can hit her!
Me: That doesn't mean you should!

HOW many times a day do I have to tell her to stop throwing, she's terrible!
