The ULTIMATE menu planning app.

I just found the BEST app. It's called Food on the Table and it's a recipe box/meal planning/grocery list making app.

A couple of awesomenesses:

1) You can add recipes from the web with 1 click.
2) When you add a recipe to your meal plan, it automatically adds all ingredients to the grocery list.
3) You can look up recipes by what's in your pantry
4) You can program in all your local stores, it will tell you what's on sale and then you can look up recipes by what's on sale at the store, add it to your meal plan and it will add it to the grocery list!

There's tons more to it, but that should "sell" you. Oh wait. It's FREE too. :)

I have that app. I don't use it much for the meal planning and recipes, I just can't get my crap together enough. I do use it to check the weekly sales, I love that feature alone.

I normally avoid any thread that might have to do with cooking, BUT...since Traci started it (and she's awesome), and it was an app, and since Michael has decided he might want to try some clean eating shizz, I actually clicked on it. I shared it with Michael, too, since he does the grocery shopping and cooking. :)

anyone know if this is for android too, or maybe just iPhone? I cannot find it on the samsung app store or the google play store (both android app stores).

I have this on my phone and on the computer, and for the life of me I can't figure out how to add recipes from the web. I see how you can add your own by submitting them, but I really want to figure out the one-click from the web. Anyone?

I can't find it on my desktop but I can on my phone app. It's so small though that I'd much rather use my desktop for finding recipes!

nice! i will have to check it out. we have been menu planning for a couple of months and it is a life saver!
