I think I'm in shock. I don't feel like I can move much atm. I need something hard..like some liquor or maybe a brick.
 
sorry adam fans! He did a great job tonight. I actually sat and watched idol tonight. Very entertaining. I'm sure Adam will still get some record deal right?
 
I actually think losing is the BEST thing for Adam..he'd never have the creative liberty to do what he wants with his songs if he won...

Adam was pretty awesome tonite...I think Kris got a lot of Danny fans voting for him. Really hard to compare the two IMO.
 
If you look at AI history--usually both first and second release the bad song. It's never good for either of them.

I couldn't be happier. I think Adam really is happiest with this result. I LOVE Adam, and we all know he's going to tear it up after this without having to sing crappy Idol songs (well...after the lovely summer tour). Deep in our hearts, we know this is true and WAY bigger than the actual win. If you love Adam, set him free.

I also love Kris to pieces, and he'll benefit a great deal from the win.
 
I am SO GLAD Adam Lost, now he won't be tied into crappy American Idol contracts and can do his thing without being "directed" by them!

Yeah he certainly did. The judges knew it was better for him not to win too, now he's free to do whatever he wants with his newfound fame. I bet he'll be a busy guy from here on out.

Queen should take him as their front man. I loved Freddie Mercury, and couldn't imagine anyone taking his place, but really, Adam is perfect. The more I thought about it last night, the more I realized this would be a great match! :thumbup:

I know, I'll just keep living in dream land. LOL

I'm sorry Manda. I know there were a lot of Adam fans here and I thought he was fabulous but I wanted the underdog to win and am so glad he did it makes me think maybe it's fixed after all.

I don't know. I'm a diehard Queen fan. I simply wouldn't buy a new Queen album with Adam as front man. For me, he's not that perfect fit that they'd need. Freddie Mercury is irreplaceable.

This thread was SUCH a hoot to read through this morning, lol!!

And I'm totally with Meg and Sara and Traci...losing was the best thing for Adam and I think he was relieved he didn't win.
