Hi friends!

Happy New Year! I hope 2025 is already off to a cozy, creative, and inspiring start for you.

I’m so excited to share that I’m officially back at Sweet Shoppe Designs—a place that feels like home in every way. Being surrounded by such an amazing team of designers and the always-inspiring Babes has reignited my creative spark, and it feels so good to be back where it all began!

A little about me...
Hey there, I’m Becca! I live in rural Southern Illinois with my family, and when I’m not busy illustrating or designing scrapbook products, you’ll probably find me obsessing over my pumpkin patch (yes, I’m already planning next season’s crop and ordering seeds—can’t help myself!).

My journey with SSD started way back in 2008 when I was a die-hard digi scrapper. Every Friday night, you could find me hanging out in the chatroom, eagerly waiting for the store to go live so I could snag the latest goodies. Fast forward to 2010, I took the leap into designing by participating in an Apprentice challenge at another scrapbook site. That challenge sparked a passion for creating, and I’ve been on this journey ever since.

Over the years, I’ve poured my heart into honing my skills, refining my style, and creating whimsical illustrations that make me smile—and I hope they make you smile too! Whether it’s a silly cat, a happy dog, or a snoozing bear, my goal is to bring a little extra joy to your scrapbooking pages.

For me, this hobby is about so much more than creativity—it’s about the connections we make and the memories we celebrate together. I can’t wait to share what’s coming next and hope you’ll join me as we dive into a year full of inspiration, storytelling, and creative fun.

Here’s to new chapters, fresh designs, and celebrating all of life’s little moments together in 2025!

Did you say, pumpkin patch? I wouldn't say I have a pumpkin patch, but I did grow quite a few pumpkins and goards over the years. This year's crop was some really cool looking goards and I was just so excited about them! It's the first year I didn't go buy any from any of the neighboring farms. I can't wait to hear more about yours!

Welcome back to the Sweet Shoppe! I'm so happy for you!

Yes! I love my pumpkins haha. I started out small and then became obsessed with it. I keep expanding it each year. First it was enough for me. Then enough for me and family. I eventually want to sell them and have my own stand. We do a mixture of trellising the smaller varieties and the bigger ones in rows. Trying out some new varieties next season, too!
