The day has come...

Today's the day Madelyn goes to get her tubes in. I'm going to get in the shower in just a few minutes, get both kidlets up, take Emma to my brother-in-law's house and get on the road. I'm more worried about her not being able to eat or drink until after surgery than I am about the actual surgery LOL Isn't that sad? I'm also kinda worried about when she comes out of anesthesia too. :(

Could you just us in your t&p's today, please? Have a good one everybody! :)

My little guy had tubes put in his ears last June at 18 mo. I was a wreck, too! I'm sure everything will go smoothly - it was harder on me than him, I think.

Ahh...hugs mom! I've been through this twice with my little guy, and both times it was harder on me than it was on him. Madelyn will do just fine and in the end, you'll be so glad you did this!

I was a wreck when my baby boy went to get his tubes put in also! It turned out nothing to be worried about though. I'll be thinking of you guys and sent a prayer up!

<<<<HUGS>>>>

Sending lots of good vibes your way today! Two of my kiddos have had tubes, and the hours before surgery are definitely the worst part. After they had a good nap after surgery they were 100% in no time! And she'll feel soooo much better!

My little sister had to have tubes put in her ears, too. I really don't think it bothered her much (at 9 years old) but I tell you she can hear so much better and hasn't had problems with her ears since!

Thanks girlies! I swear, this kid never ceases to amaze me. Poor thing had to wait unitl 10:30 because the a-hole doctor was an hour late. She was in and out in 5 minutes and she only cried for about 5 minutes once she came out of anesthesia. Once she got over the intial "I'm dying of thirst/hunger," she did really well. Baby girl's sleeping now so I'm hoping we'll have a speedy "recovery!" Thanks for all the t&p's ladies!

Oh my goodness...Hillary is going to be having this done tomorrow and having her adenoids removed at the same time. I am glad it went well for your dd.
