We got to go today, I wasn't expecting to, but it was pretty good.

I love Christian Bale as Batman & Bruce Wayne. Ann Hathaway was great as Catwoman.

But, OMG, it was long!

And I really loved how they ended it. Anyone else see it yet? I know lots of you are planning on going this weekend.

saw it last night & my husband & i both liked it but weren't in love with it. mainly because it seemed stretched out to us, kwim? i did LOVE the ending though! DH didn't like Joseph Gordon Leavitt's role but i did.

I agree, I thought it was a little long. I liked JGL's part.

Oh my gosh, did you hear about the shooting in Colorado at the movie theatre while people were watching this movie? Sick! Totally sick. 12 killed, 11 in critical condition, 58 injured. One of guys there was celebrating his birthday and thought that was going to be his best birthday yet except he ended up dying on his birthday. Sick world! And then there was a guy who died shielding his girlfriend, though she did still get shot in the leg and had surgery for it. Some people made it out OK. This is ridiculous, I'm just appalled.

Yeah, I heard, it was nice and calm at our theater, actually, not a ton of people there. But we went in the afternoon too.

My son went to see it yesterday and enjoyed it. I am heart sick at the needless violence that seems to plague our society. I'm praying for all the victims, their families and the community. I'm praying for all of us.

We are going to see it next Thursday or Friday, we are going to make an afternoon of it and go for some dinner too. It's rare we can do that as the kids are usually at school and OH is always at work.

Saw it and loved it--I don't wanna compare it to the other two of the trilogy because to me it served its purpose: gave a conclusion and then had forward momentum into the next "stage," so to speak. There were some director-type things I would've done instead, but they are to specific scenes and they are just to satisfy the geekiness of me, so it's fine lol.

Yup, loved Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, JGL, and of course Gary Oldman! :p Also loved the cameo appearances, hee, they made me giggle :)

Mark and I had watched it with fellow geeky friends, and we were cheering over the weirdest things, so I think it's also because of that that we didn't feel the three hours at all!
