The Dark Knight Rises...who's going?

Got our tix for Saturday evening IMAX can't wait!!! I wasn't brave enough to tackle the crowds on Thursday midnight (15 showings from midnight-3am!!) or Friday (starting at 8am!!)

We'll be going, but not this weekend. We prefer to avoid the masses. So, we'll probably be there next weekend. All you early birds . . . enjoy the show! :D

my son works at the theater. He isn't working the midnight opening (or the all day Batman marathon that they are having before it). But he has to work the rest of the opening weekend. He wanted to go camping that weekend, but they said it was a mandatory work weekend. Employees can't go see the movie until the mad rush is over, so not only can he not go camping, but he can't even see the movie either! he is bummed!

Woohoo we're definitely going!!! Got our IMAX tickets and we are watching Saturday morning at 9AM. (I had no idea our IMAX theater was open in the morning, lol)

We will definitely be going on a date to see it. When? I don't know, but before it leaves the theaters for sure. Even though I am nervous about how dark it will be...

Probably going at some point although I am not super excited to. My hubby usually lets me pick the movie and I know he has sat through some pretty girly movies for me.

My son is dying to see it. He's seen all the other ones so I doubt this one is any more violent, etc. than those, but if someone who sees it can fill me in I would appreciate it.

He is only 7, but the violence doesn't bother me...I'm more interested in if the sexual content between him and Catwoman are worse in this one than the other movies. If I take him, it will be next week after the mad rush.

I will have to wait til it comes out on DVD as my husband is seeing it with his team at work and I hate going to movies alone. :(

Kim, if I were your husband I'd totally go see it a second time with you, lol. I watch those movies ANY time they are on tv. So. Good.
Jordan had the chance to get us tickets to see it tomorrow, but it would've meant me sitting in a conference with him for 5 hours before the movie. With no real baby sitting options, we had to pass. SO bummed. And his boss is getting married on saturday, so we can't even do a date night to go see it. Hopefully hopefully hopefully we'll go see it soon. It's one of the only movies we are willing to pay the money to see in theaters, we love the series so much. I'm sad that this is the last one with Christian Bale. I LOVE him as Batman.

We're going in the afternoon on Friday at the IMAX hoping to avoid some of the crowds. We don't like crowds (me especially), but sometimes they're fun for movies like this :)
