Wow, talk about an awesome belated holiday gift!!

There was a class action employment lawsuit against the company where I work that was settled a while back. Those of us who belonged to the class (we were automatically put into it), were notified of the settlement at a high level many months ago, and we all laughed about how we'd probably get $.82 out of it by the time the lawyers took their cut and it was split out across all the members.

Anyhow...the checks came! I got $800 after taxes!! how cool is that??

*sigh*...so now I'm trying to decide what extra little Christmas present I'd like to get myself, LOL!

we have family in town...and we took everyone out to eat last night. We didn't got any place fancy, just a local place (Chuy's for all you Texans, LOL!) - but there were 8 of us! Of course we paid in celebration of the big check...but when the bill came, I was like -MAN, that's 10% of the money!

so now I feel like I should save it. :blink: whoa - better go sleep THAT idea off.
