The BEST Surprise EVER!!

What a sweet treat from your son!! It's such an "Awww!!" moment :)

Now I'm jealous and wish someone'd do that to me. LOL

What an awesome surprise!! You must have raised him right, lol! And I agree with Fizz... he's totally cute! Will you meet/see his girlfriend while they are down?

Awww, that is so sweet! I hope my boys still adore me and want to visit me when they're older like your boys.

And Liz is right... he's a doll! Too bad he has a girlfriend... he and my hottie sister (who is a 25-year-old kindergarten teacher) would make a PRECIOUS couple! lol

And, on a side note: I like that hat. I think boys in those hats look adorable. :)

I do know his girlfriend. They were dating when they lived here, and he followed here there...where she went to be by her own mom.

I won't say that his girlfriend and I are friends. I try to be nice to her...she kind of takes everything I say wrong, but I CAN be sarcastic at times, and my son tells her she needs to lighten up and know that I'm just that way! They'll be coming back here on Monday and staying the night here. Thankfully, I just moved the Queen sized bed into Eric's room, and put the two twin beds in the extra room! :) I told Ryan that Andrea will probably think I did that just because she was coming!!

I think that this is the hardest part about being a mom of boys. They grow up and fall in love, and that person is more important than you now. I don't want to be one of those mom's that control their kids' lives, so I try to be chill about it all.

He stayed up till about 3 am and played video games with his youngest two brothers. They are up having coffee, bagels and donuts now...and are all going to see "The Watchman" in an hour or so. I'm just kind of hanging out and watching them all spend time together. I think that makes my heart sing, kwim?

I just made a layout about Ryan and his other brother when they were small, and I mentioned in it what an awesome brother he has always been. We had a period in college where he got messed up in drugs and all the wrong people, and I had to let him hit rock bottom. That was the toughest thing I've ever done, but I knew I that it was the only way for him to make a change. Change he did, and for the last 4 years he's done awesome, works two jobs and even bought a brand new little house in Austin, TX. I just wish he lived closer to me! :)

Oh that is so cool! I hope my boys are that close with each other and me in twenty years!! Sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders too about it all!
