the background on this site

I remember a few months ago someone posted about the background. Lately my monitor keeps changing though and sometimes when I get on this site it is almost all white with yellow stripes. Then other times it is kinda a muted creamy yellow color with pink and white stripes. This makes me kinda wonder though because I rely on my monitor to show the colors correctly so when I am doing a layout I am seeing the correct colors. So what Im wondering is the creamy yellow/pink/white striped background the correct color?

usually if I hit the snooze button on my keyboard the monitor will reset itself and show the other colors instead of just the white b/g with yellow stripes. Its just kinda weird and now Im just wondering if there is something messed up with my monitor. Oh in case it matter Im using an LCD flat screen monitor

It's pretty much pale yellow, darker pale yellow and cream

take a screenshot and compare or show us what you see. I always see this:

Comparing screenshots won't help since your colors will still be off...but there's definitely no pink in the background, just on the edge (on the inside of the white scallops) of the forum.

the other screenshot is basically the same as mine but sometimes the background changes to almost completely to white with really thin yellow stripes and no other stripes at all. That is what I was worried about. Im not sure why it does that...if maybe the computer has been on to long or needs to be restarted or what.
