Holy cr@p! That's over the top even for me, and red/w/bl is my favorite color combinations ever (hence, the colors fo our wedding).

Mandy, we're eventually painting our kitchen a deep red. Since we have vaulted ceilings, it's a PITA. We're doing 1 wall in the deep red, and then the rest in the same neutral we have all over the house. Eventually, there will be hardwood floors and granite countertops as well. And when that happens, I want a black granite countertop and to paint and distress the cabinets black. Much more subtle than that room, lol!

OMG!!! That is bad IMO. And it totally scares me because we are remodeling our kitchen as I type...it went down to studs, a wall was knocked out and a beam put in. Right now the new drywall/sheetrock is going up and new cabinets will start going in on Thursday....now I'm going to have nightmares that our kitchen will turn out that way!!!

I should take a picture of my friend's kitchen. Kind of weird, but that picture is actually almost her exact layout...picture it with brick red walls, though, and kind of a "Paris" type theme with chefs, etc. It is GORGEOUS!!!
