Do you have one?

For me, it's my husband's younger sister. She is a drama queen that lives on drama island in drama land. :glare:

She's always been like this but since she left her husband and got a new boyfriend, she is way worse.

I almost feel better just typing it out. ;)
 
Oh yes we have that one family member that is always getting under my skin....Though I am sure she has someone who gets under her skin 8000 times worse. ;) Get what I am saying?
 
yep...my youngest SIL.....thank goodness we llive 5 hours away but my poor other SIL has had to deal with it for the past 7 years and it got to the point where their girls don't even really hang out together cause she causes so much drama.....she is very hig maint. on a beer budget:D
 
Thankfully my family tends to avoid that kind of drama. But I have 1 close relative who goes through angry periods, and when he's in one everyone has to walk on eggshells and things are very tense for weeks at a time. It's been a few years since he's had one, though, so I'm beginning to think that maybe some family changes that happened 2 years ago have finally eliminated the major cause of his stress and anger. I can hope, anyway!
 
I did have one, but since I divorced his brother, I don't really have to deal with him any longer. ;)
 
hmm ya a brother in law that liked to steal my wallets and money..... it was a terrible period. and it's always the inlaws - because i love MY family 100% we enjoy and really genuinely care for each other. when it's drama - it's us discussing our outside drama and getting supportive feedback :) i'm blessed... but the inlaws... idk (my mother in law and father in law though, I am very blessed to have had too)
 
Oh yeah! My MIL & FIL are horrid people!! We had a falling out about a year and a half ago, and I have to say it was a HUGE blessing to finally be able to keep them out of my life. I'm sad that it had to come to that, but I'm not sad I don't have to deal with them anymore. And my husband has grown so much since their daily (negative) influence has been reduced to random phone calls (we don't live in the same town anymore, so it's not that he's cut them from his life or anything). But yeah - them! Can't stand 'em! Vile souls - just horrible people all around!
 
Pretty much my entire family. My younger sister is THE worst, thinks the world and his wife owes her, speaks to everyone like rubbish, thinks she's better than everyone else yet she does drugs, dresses like a tart, has a foul mouth and sponges off the family. My dad and grandmother complete the drama trio. I swear I broke the mould, I'm the black sheep because I don't fit in with how they do things or how high and mighty they think they are. I had some issues with my MIL & FIL for the first 2 years DH and I were together, but I think I've become more tolerable and now accept that she's just a protective mother of her only child.

My mom... I haven't talked to her in about 2 years now. I tried...again... last fall but it just turned around and bit me in the a$$, so I haven't talked to her since. My sister hasn't spoken with her in a while either...
I have a great MIL and step mother to talk to, and that's good for me in the mom dept. (My sister feels the same way about her MIL and our step mom) Enough drama! It's so unnecessary!
 
My SIL is all drama all the time. Everything is about her and she obsessed with her appearance. Her needs come first, before my brother, before my nieces. She complains there house is too small but rather than helping my brother save for remodeling she spends it on a jet ski to play on the river with her friends, or a tanning bed so she never gets 'too pale' and then complains some more about wanting to go to the beach but my brother is 'too cheap to take them' . And her sisters are worse. Two of them seem to just love criminals & each have a couple baby daddies that are in and out of jail. That whole family drives me nuts really
 
Sigh...I have one...or more. Luckily the worst just moved to Ireland, but she still manages to make us feel like dirt, even from so far away. :(
 
Only one? I have a few. Drama, drama, drama. I feel like some people just enjoy stirring up trouble and arguments between family members. Thankfully, I don't have to deal with it too often since most live far.
 
I have one but she's mellowed with age (and I live far away). Mostly, my family leans too far the other way -- no one wants to create "a scene", so no one ever talks about anything.
 
I used to not be able to stand my mom, but then my brother married a girl who is just like her, abd they only live 10 minutes away. At first she treated her like the daughter she always dreamed of, but now she gets annoyed at her for all of the reasons I used to be annoyed at her. Amazingly she has mellowed. There is other drama, but we live so far away from everyone that when we fly out there they are all just happy to see us.
 
I always say that there is one in every family. It certainly seems to work that way in every family I have ever met. Kinda sad. LOL

Here it would be my BIL on DH's side. He's a piece of work. Love him but don't understand him at all and he has made some choices that we all disagree strongly with. His behavior has been less than appropriate for sure.

On my side... well, hmm... gosh... who was it above that said they are the black sheep of their family? That's kinda me. It isn't the case with 100% of my family but it certainly seems to be the case with the family I live closest to. I'd say my mom is the worst and even though the other family members have their moments they would probably say my mom is the worst too. She has mental, emotional and social issues though and on a good day will readily admit to such but not all days are great. I have learned to not expect anything and that helps. The rest of the family here like to party and do drugs and curse and hang out with people that make me extremely uncomfortable. They just do their thing and I do mine. If they want something they call me, otherwise I don't hear from them. We dealt with too many stoned and drunk people when we were kids, I don't want to continue to deal with them. They all seem to have picked up an attitude that it is 'cool' where it completely turns me off. I'm the 'stuck up' one because I don't hang out with them and party and all of that but it just isn't me and never has been and I'm not going to continue to put myself in situations I am uncomfortable with for sake of family.
 
I don't really have one, but we have a really small family. DH and I are only childs, my dad passed away 13 years ago, and I get along well enough with my inlaws. I'm really close to my mother, too. We don't have drama. :)
 
Oh yes! My mom. She needs to be the centre of her children's universe, despite the fact that all 3 of us have grown up and have families of our own. If we disagree with her opinion it's like starting WW3. She doesnt understand that we have lives outside of her and that our relationships with each other and my dad are seperate from her. Right now she's not talking to 2 of us and the 3rd spends as little time as he possibly can with her. It's really sad actually
 
My step mother and step sister. I had high hopes when she married my father....but oy. She is something else. It all came to a head a couple of years ago when she fought with me in front of my kids after I asked her not to, and I have not spoken to her since. As a result my relationship with my dad is strained, but I could not tolerate her, her dramamama kid, and everything else. She was just a bit$h plain and simple. And not just because she married my father, she is to everyone. She has managed to push away everyone in her own family as well. Oh well, whatever, makes her happy I guess!

I have been so much happier since she's been out of my life.
