I recently printed out my 2007 family album, and one thing that I noticed was that as soon as I joined SSD and started doing challenges, my pages that "mean something" (not just events) tripled! I am so grateful for these challenges that made me scrap about my girls and their little quirks and stages last year. Doesn't that sound so cliche? But I am so pleased with how the book turned out, and I am so glad I did the challenges! They really made a huge difference in my album!

I've only done a few challenges and am relatively new here but I completely understand what you mean. The challenges really make me think - especially the Sugar Free challenge. I think that's my new favorite. :thumbup: And they give me a chance to do LO's that I normally wouldn't and try new things too. :thumbup: Yay SSD!

I too agree 100%, the challenges really have made me scrap those moments and photos that used to be on the sidelines and I'm so excited that I'm scrapping them!

I feel the same way. The challenges really "make" my pages. And they've opened my mind to thinking a new way. I used to only scrap pages for challenges, b/c they were so inspiring. Recently, though, I've been able to branch out and scrap any page--I've been more inspired because of the challenges, directly and indirectly. Awesome!

I have a list of photos I want to scrap and then I can very simply find a challenge that match any of them and vice versa - it's funny!

I agree with everyone! The challenges here opened my scrapbooking to a whole new level for me! It also helps me get lots done because I have so many wonderful ideas to work from! This is truly the best place in all of digiland!!!

I absolutely agree! It's amazing how some of these challenges really bring out a lot in our pages, not just photos, but the stories that make up our life.. the real life stuff that you normally wouldn't think of scrapping about...
