The funeral was today and it was so sad seeing my SIL and nieces just heartbroken. I had no words except for I love you and I'm always here for you... But it just doesn't seem like enough.
When my niece asked me flat out "When will I get to see you again?" my heart exploded and I told her ANYTIME you want Lici -- anytime.
I'm feeling very helpless but I know that time will help.

Anyway, it was a long day but I felt so much better coming home and resting for a bit while Dusty watched the kids (gotta love him, sometimes he just KNOWS).

That is so, so sad and your family has my deepest condolences. I'm sure that your neices in coming days will need some support and probably some distraction so it's great that you can be there for them. I hope that time will help to bring some peace and healing to them and to your whole family.
