Thank you Regions Bank

for keeping my credit card so FREAKIN secure that *I* can't even use it.

WTH is up with security questions that are from ten years ago?! Really, I'm glad you have access to the government's file on me that tells you where I lived ten years ago, BUT I CANNOT REMEMBER THE ADDRESS, jerk. That doesn't mean I'm trying to commit fraud you dummy. It just means that for the last seven years I have had the same address and can't remember what my stupid address was in college. Grrrrr.

Anybody know how I can find out what those addresses are since I have no records with me overseas?

And anybody know a good credit card I can get to replace my dumb Regions card?

Oh that is SO frustrating!!! I have no idea why they need that info! We had some company wanting us to confirm our address for some reason or other, and they had our old address from 6 years ago. Thank goodness we had some older paperwork (our car sale agreement) that had our addy on it.

Do you have anything like that? Some insurance paperwork or anything that would have your old addy?

isn't that annoying? we're ex military so we've had several address over the past ten years. i don't remember them either.

Sometimes they accept just the zipcode..do you remember that? Might have to call them :0/

We use Chase for our Visa then we have American Express..we never use them really though I try and keep them all paid off

They can only have what you have last listed, if you haven't updated with them, then they won't have it. Do you not get statments sent to you or only e-statements?

You can run a credit report, that will have your old address on it. Or try calling some family members and seeing if they haven't updated their address books in a long time.

Gah. I can't even access my credit report from overseas. I have been so frustrated all morning! But my mom finally got home, and she found the addresses for me, and the next guy I talked to was super helpful and got me hooked back up. Whew. We keep our cards paid off and everything, but we have to have them for buying tickets, since Joel is flying somewhere every month. I would LOVE to not be dependent on them!

Yeah...frustrating I know! Once when I lost my wallet while in the middle of a move I tried calling the credit report agencies/credit card people and they all only had my college stuff for my info. I was like "that was 7 years ago and I have no idea". They ended up putting a hold on my credit and all that, but still it was like...really 7 years ago in a galaxy far far away? So yeah...I totally understand!

I can remember towns and states, but the street address? ROTFLMBO!!!

And I just love the security question online when it asks "What is your grandmother's first name?" - um, don't most people have 2 of them?

I was just going to suggest pipl.com or even Zabasearch.com to find yourself. Both sites have addresses for Andrew that date back to college (early 90s).

They're both free, until you want further information than what it initially gives you. If you're just looking for an old address, that's free.

When I looked myself up on pipl it just had background check and info for a price, now granted it was like $2 but still...I was mostly just curious what info out there on me.

I come up on pipl, but only in reference to CTs I'm on. The one I noticed was Eva's blog, lol! I don't come up on Zabasearch at all unless you use my maiden name. I know Andrew used pipl the other day and found out that there's still confusion between him and his father--and they don't even have the same name!

wow - just looked myself up on pipl - lots of stuff out there! Guess that's what happens when I coach ice skating and have stuff posted on club websites.
