Thank God I was home...

I was getting lunch together for the kids and the furnace turned on and I heard a huge bang... then about 30 seconds later the whole house smelled like burnt toast... I ran downstairs to check the furnace and there were huge flames coming up... so I turned off the furnace and now I'm waiting for someone to come take a look, UGH... I'm so glad I was home, I don't even want to think about what could have been, blah! I hadn't smelled any gas which was good so it wasn't a gas leak or anything like that, phew! We were planning on replacing the furnace this summer after we got our tax credit along with the A/C... now to scrounge up some money, sigh...
