 how do you create a text path in Adobe Photoshop 6.0???? I want to write in a squiggle line or even in a semi circle but have NO idea how??? Help!!!

I don't think you can write text in a path on the earlier versions of PS. I had a friend of mine with PS7 and didn't have that on hers. I may be wrong though, I'm sure someone will know.

That's crazy that you can't do text on a path... what a bummer! I was sure there must be a way, till I read this:

With Photoshop 6.0, text is easier to implement, too. This version offers on-canvas text editing, just as almost every $50 image editor does--you can now just place your cursor on the canvas and start typing. Text remains editable so long as it is in vector format. A new text warping feature does a great job of molding text around part of an object, but you can't write text on a path. For example, you can't draw a meandering line across the page and make text adhere to that line. (You'll still need Illustrator for that.)

Have you played around with that text warping feature? Sounds interesting at least.

I went searching for you.... I found some suggestions using the Shear tool.. It's not the most beautiful thing, but it could give you a wiggly line.

I thought someone out there had templates with text ona path already made, so all you had to do was edit the text.....I'll go looking....

In PS7 you can write in a path. I do not know about PS 6! But here is what I used to do in PS7! Hope you understand my terrible English! ;)

Select the shape you want to write on by pressing "Ctrl", according to this image:

Then you create a path, in the path palete:

Now you select the Text tool and write in the path you created!!!
