I have some of Bree's 8x8 album templates and I would like to resize one to a 12x12. I noticed when it is at an 8x8, the ppi is at 300. When I resize it to a 12x12 it changes the ppi to 200. When I get this page printed will it look bad because the ppi is lower, or will the difference not be all that noticable?

What program are you using? In CS, the only time the ppi changes is if you have "resample image" unchecked. See if that's the case in your program and change it if is. Then you can resize at the same ppi.
 
I am using PSE6. The way I have been doing it is...

Image-> resize-> image size

When I change the image size to 12x12 it automatically switches the ppi to 200.

I hope this makes sense :)
 
Basically upsizing your layout from 8x8 at 300 ppi is the same as 12x12 at 200 ppi. I'm told the quality isn't different, though I have never tried it so I can't say for sure.
 
What if you opened a new canvas sized 12x12 and drug the template layers onto it and then enlarged them. That's what I would do.
 
OK I just open my PSE6 and you need to do what you did Image---> Resize Image. When the box pops up you need to go clear to the bottom of it and "check" Resample Image and it will allow you to up the pixel dimensions to 3600x3600. That will bump it up to a 12x12 with a dpi of 300!!!
